On this page and the linked pages there are vintage magazines, an old My Fair Lady theatre programme and 1960/71 maps. James Dean was one of my idols and I saw all his films when they first came out. They are so reminiscent of that era. The Coronation book was written for children.There have been a few developments since the maps were printed, and it is very interesting from a historical point of view to see the road changes (just a word of warning: don't rely on them when you are driving nowdays). |

A Guide to the Hunterian Museum1968 |
At The Royal College of Surgeons, Lincoln's Inn Fields London WC1. I used to work for a surgeon there in 1968 and used to slip into the museum without permission, to have a look at the amazing medical exhibits, with bottled foetuses and the skeletons of The Irish Giant and Tom Thumb.
