Spring Tree Snow Tree Autumn

I have developed this website to tell you about my hobbies, and what I collect and what I write and what I  think about things.

I have a large collection of books, including:
I am now selling some of my books. It is not easy for me to let go, but I confess I have been a bit of a magpie over the years, and I doubt if I could read them all.
  • I have collected legal documents for years and would like to sell these. copperplate assignment

I design and handmake affordable earrings which I hope to sell and have      been known to paint decorative ceramic designs, mainly for presents   rose glass bead

And I have just started experimenting with decoupage, decoupage box

And I made a dolly, rag doll

And I collect Beswick figurines, some of which I want to sell, alice

And china and objets d'art and oddities, some of which are for sale, moorcroft

I write poetry -  you can read some of this on the poetry page and, if you like, let me have your comments. You can also commission me to write a poem expecially for you, for instance for someone's birthday card, or to celebrate or remember an event.

I have a love of the English language, and am good at giving advice, writing effective letters, and drafting documents such as reports, statements, forms  and documents. If you want help in looking over things you have written and correcting them or discussing them, or even writing them for you, feel free to ask me. I enjoy assisting people who need this kind of help.  Sometimes I would want to charge for it, and sometimes not, depending on the circumstances.  I am not working, so need to supplement my income or have an exchange of labour or artefacts - it all helps the world go round. But, having struggled as a single parent, I do understand that not everyone has money to spare.
