I am selling my own collection of books, gathered over the past fifty years.

Because this is a personal collection, the books represent my own taste in

reading, although I have now reached the stage where I have to admit

that I would never be able to get through them all.  Nonetheless, this is

just an explanation of why you might find them rather an odd mixture.
